yep, we called each other faggots all the time and it was no big deal. Sometimes in jest, other times when mad. We used to have a saying “sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt.” It’s so insane now that saying a word can get you an additional 20 years added to a crime or fired from a job etc. That’s not what America’s supposed to be about. The first amendment is there for offensive speech or politically incorrect speech. Remember the leftists 30 years ago always used 1A to push pornography and other sick “artistic” crap that was outrageously offensive.
