Georgia trooper shot, suspected shooter dead near site of proposed public safety training center
ATLANTA — A Georgia State Patrol trooper was shot near Moreland Ave and Constitution Road in Atlanta Wednesday morning.
Officials confirmed the shooting to Channel 2 investigative reporter Mark Winne.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Michael Register said several agencies were doing a raid near a proposed Atlanta Police Department training facility when someone started shooting at them. The trooper was shot and officers returned fire in self-defense, according to the GBI.

Antifa have been protesting there since the beginning of the construction and have previously had run-ins with law enforcement. The groups have been removed from the site in the past but keep returning. Most are from out of town (Portland?) and they have done nothing but cause trouble. It will be interesting to find out the background of the deceased. I hope the trooper will be okay.
Oh, and the headline is misleading. It doesn’t seem the cops were raiding the new training center, but instead a location nearby. Possibly the location from which Antifa were staging their protests.
Too bad they did not launch in a few 155s instead but unfortunately all the ammo has gone to Ukraine.

Point taken. It was obviously just an “idea” that harmed the trooper, and not an actual person or group of persons.

The Trooper has had surgery, is in critical condition, and in ICU at Grady Hospital.
More police shot here than doing the entire J6 frat party.
Antifa is promising to hit back on Jan 20.
Is any of this in the MSM?
I haven’t heard anything on this by the MSM.
