At heart, there’s no such thing as irreligious. You just have a different God, which is leftism. How can you be for inclusiveness, choice, live and let live, gay marriage doesn’t affect you, etc. etc., and THEN demand that somebody affirm and participate in an activity they have a conscientious objection to? Mandating it is nothing but authoritarianism under the banner of an ideology, which is exactly what the left accuses Christians of being - while it’s completely the opposite.
It only took about 25 years to go from: “we just want to love who we love in the privacy of our own home....”
To: “F**** you Christians and if you don’t participate, we are going to take all your money and throw you in jail.”

Todd Starnes has a concise and helpful narrative in his book The Deplorables Guide to Making America Great Again (and great stuff in God Less America) about the phony stance by gays about just wanting to add the love between gay partners to the world by marriage. After many states went to the trouble of petition drives and votes by the legislatures to assure marriage defined as allowed legally for “one man and one woman” the Supreme Court ended that freedom and demanded gay marriage in all states.
Then the gays put pre-arranged plans into force to deliberately put bakers and others out of business by having phony injured by discrimination gay couples go to court, knowing the amounts of the fines and that out of court settlements and legal costs would financially ruin the owners who were Christians. Not adding love and that stuff——a political vendetta.
True, but I have come to the conclusion most people and many here just don’t the stomach for any sort of conflict let alone a real fight. Too many of us have been brainwashed with the ‘we have to be good people’ mantra of middle class white bourgeois culture. Krushchev was right about many of us that ‘you won’t even fight when your life depends on it’.

Agree...there was a reason they crucified Christ. It wasn’t because he was a criminal, he had done nothing wrong. It was because they HATED him - both the orthodoxy of the day and the authorities. Just as the left would crucify PDJT if they could get away with it.
Christ was no wimp. We built him up as an image of “peace and love” like sort of hippie pacifist. We interpret it as being “agreeable to get along”. Yet he SAID he was here to divide, that his message will split friends and family....”carry a sword”. We are devolving at an accelerated rate, it can’t go on.
Maybe people such as Ivan Provorov should be thrown into prison camps or mental institutions. Faithful Russian Orthodox have been gone through that before.
