After his defeat in 2000, the Democrats wanted nothing to do with Gore. John Kerry and Hillary Clinton but not Al Gore, worked in the Obama Administration, and notably the Biden Administration appointed Kerry, and not Gore as the environmental czar. Gore is essentially an elderly male version of Greta Thunberg.
