Memphis Police posted this statement to Twitter as well as Facebook and provided the following photos.
“The Memphis Police Department has conclude its administrative investigation into the tragic death of Mr. Tyre Nichols. After a thorough review of the circumstances surrounding this incident, we have determined that five (5) MPD officers violated multiple department policies, including excessive use of force, duty to intervene, and duty to render aid.
Earlier today, each officer charged was terminated from the Memphis Police Department. The Memphis Police Department is committed to protecting and defending the rights of every citizen in our city. The egregious nature of this incident is not a reflection of the good work that our officers perform, with integrity, every day.” – Chief Cerelyn “CJ” Davis, Memphis Police.

Ashley Babbitt - an unarmed protester - was assassinated by a capitol cop and the cop was a hero to DC thugs and the bimbos and pretentious ‘men’ of the press who kiss their butts.
I’ve rarely seen such a blatant display of white supremacy.
👍👍👍👍
will not here much about this nationally, why? because the cops were not white
And this is why the “back the blue” idiots are wrong. The black cops are just criminals in uniform.
I wonder if there is more to this story, like: they knew him. Not as a criminal, but in some other way. Maybe they’re corrupt and he owed them money, or screwed one of their sisters, or something. It seems weird that they’d get that violent.
Ben Crump is the attorney for the Nichols family.
I’m guessing he wont be loud on this one, but will get a huge settlement.
Lol, I don’t think he’s going to Memphis anytime soon…
Like herding cats
It was puzzling. The guy who died worked for FedEx. Okay so he was driving recklessly. I don’t know why he ran, but from what I have heard he didn’t have a criminal record.
Perhaps he thought he would lose his job, maybe he had a commercial driver’s license and thought he would lose it?
This is a bad look for the MPD.
Yeah, it's very, very strange. I wonder if the real story will ever come out.
I looked it up. He was a box maker at FedEx. So it wasn’t that he was afraid of losing a CDL.
A lot of people like to race their cars in Memphis. He should have been arrested for that but it’s obvious he was killed. Pictures of him in the hospital clearly show the police must have beaten him badly.
I spent a day in Memphis last year and was pleasantly surprised it was not as bad as I’d previously thought.
