I’m almost away from Chase....almost....still very convenient for bill paying....and thank God I don’t have much money....lol
If you still have an account with bank of America what’s left to say? We have moved most of our cash into hard assets and the mattress. I look for the four big banks not to be around much longer.
Credit unions will be no protection from a Bail-in.
I spent a couple of days this week explaining to my brother why he had to ditch his bank, which was charging him 8 bucks a month for a checking account.
“Pull your money out of banks ASAP. They are all going to go under.”
Well, they definitely will if everyone tries to pull their money out.
Nice reminder that the banks do not consider it your money. I had to withdraw my 401k for hardship and all really needed was the money I paid in.
Over 6 weeks later, I finally got it.
Anytime Davis crowd jets in it is more dark times. They cooked up a plandemic and we the ssheeple obeyed. They are drunk with power in a Biblical way.
Probably because that's where there real money is.
“Nothing to see here. We got caught in the act, and acted swiftly with a coverup.
Trust us. All is well.”
4 am
That was mine! You owe me with interest! ;-)
“Nothing to worry about, it’s only a test run.”
Absolutely. Even worse there are people who think it's perfectly safe to put cash in an envelope and then stick the envelope into the ATM.
Make deposits at the counter inside (now possible again since the covid panic has dissipated and they don't keep the doors locked).
If there ever was a time when banks simply took money from accounts and never returned it, the banking system would collaspe within hours.
No financial institution is immune from having a technical issue. The real test is how quickly a financial institution can identify and recover to make things right when they do have an issue. This could have been a BoA issue, could of been a Zelle issue or a combination of both BoA and Zelle. Insiders know the dirty details but those details are generally not publicized.
“I cannot for the life of me understand how or why anyone would bank with Bank of America.”
Been using BOA for 20 years now and never had an issue. Then again, I only have a checking and savings account with them. I don’t use them for any other services.
Some years ago, BOA was in on a pyramid scheme for investing and such...no surprises here.
Glad I did. I get much better service (and interest) from a credit union.
Top bank executives talk to the Top Fed and Treasury. The monetary system is on shaky ground. Steps will be taken to ensure the tracks are greased to keep the whole thing intact. Diversify your cash and assets and have an exit plan.
(chuckles)
I was waiting for that, but you still win the thread.
