Colorado’s rural hospitals could get $3 million a year to end inpatient care. So far, they don’t seem interested.

Basically paid to make sure folks die before they can get any real care beyond just triage. The cause and effect will be the hospital will not be able to afford to stay open and there will not even be an emergency room available.

All part of The Great culling agenda.

Another way to force people into the "Blue Hives". Probably tied into UN Agenda 2030, UNITED NATIONS TRANSFORMING OUR WORLD:

True. Plus ER is the free primary care physician for illegals, which the traitors are working on distributing even to rural areas to solve the remaining-white-enclaves emergency.

Is this supposed to be a stop-gap program to stop hospitals from closing entirely?

You mean to take advantage of those who might? If so, the answer is yes.

In the 90’s, I spent nearly a year creating a video marketing campaign to draw medical professionals to live in those little Colorado “Mayberrys” of Hugo, Haxtun, Holyoke, Julesburg, Limon, Strasburg, and Sterling. The facilities were state of the art, but few professionals wanted to live in those one Cafe towns. Yet, the campaign was appealing and those towns grew and thrived. Would be nice to visit them again, now 30 years later.

In a way probably. Most likely it is seen as a way to attract investors who know emergency care is reimbursed at a higher rate than non ER care. Also there are more patients seen in a shorter time both on an outpatient and emergency basis. It also reduces staffing for outpatient services compared to inpatient. Think corporate healthcare model where delivering profit to shareholders is more important than providing medical care.

More money for providing less care? Sounds like a typical leftist plan.

I am pretty sure keeping outpatient care will be seen as a way to expand abortion facilities in rural Colorado. Colorado has very liberal abortion laws but I don’t know if there are many clinics outside urban corridors.

That certainly isn’t the case here and in many towns like mine. Community Health Clinics, funded mostly by CMS and who do not deny care (even non-emergent) based on inability to pay, are the principal service Hispanic immigrants utilize, including integrated urgent care clinics.

Oh legals! oh legals! Yes legals! Oh wow ! log in and type it!!!

Well not many native English speakers going into ER for a common cold. That is primarily the style of the fruit of Mexico.
