I start to wonder if all this has anything to dow ith something going on in China except that the shooter at Monterey Park appears to be Vietnamese.

I don't know what's going on with these asians that they are killing their own.....
But the lockdowns and upheavals since sure have lots of people on the edge.
And in CA, state with some of the most draconian gun laws.

I have an odd question:
Has there been something recently in the media to put this scenario into peoples minds?
Has there been a show on cable or Netflix picturing a lone Asian adult butchering other Asians, many who never met the assailant? Some people are extremely suggestable, and are just one triggering thought away from acting out a violent thought.
This is one reason I was never a fan of TV shows such as Dexter, which lasted for 8 seasons.
I always thought it rather ghoulish and unhealthy for the general public.

At least one of these “mushroom farms” has been identified as a legal pot farm. Safe bet the other one is too.
The legal weed industry is full of very dodgy characters, so the Occams razor for this caper is that a dirty side deal went very wrong.

the DM article says he was arrested at a ‘house estate’ but Newsweek says he was in the parking lot of a PD substation:
“Officers arrested a suspect, 67-year-old Chunli Zhao, after they found him in his car in the parking lot of a sheriff’s substation, San Mateo County Sheriff Christina Corpus said during a news conference.”
Is this part of the asian Lunar New Year where old problems are ended so as to start the new year with a clean slate? Although starting it with a clean slate probably isn’t supposed to involve a jail cell.
