Probably the ones they took from the Marines.

Marines gave up 450 tanks. The US has about 3,500 M1A1/A2 tanks in storage.

31 is a kinda odd number.

What does 31 mean, formation wise?

Doesn’t sound like an entire armored division’s worth, but what would I know?

Or is that just the number we have sitting around at Ft. Leavenworth or somewhere?
