I had to take a “Constitution Test” to advance from 8th grade to high school. I asked myself then Why? and if I was ever going to actually need that. Looks like it was extremely important they required that test. Apparently they stopped giving/requiring it.

Imagine that, a Biden appointee that doesn’t know a f*****g thing about the job she is nominated for.

What will be truly amazing is that she will still be confirmed by a Democrat controlled Senate. There won’t be a single Democrat that will vote against her nomination, even with overwhelming evidence that she is completely unqualified to be not only a federal judge, but to even be an attorney. I guess the Washington State law bar exam doesn’t cover the Constitution - no surprise there.

I wonder if she also practices as a neurosugeon . . .

Maybe a review of all the cases she’s been involved with is in order. Clearly, she has been practicing law without being a REAL attorney . . .

Article 5 deals with Constitutional Amendments

Article 2 deals with the Executive Branch and the powers of the President.

Had to look this one up:

Purposive approach:

is an approach to statutory and constitutional interpretation under which common law courts interpret an enactment (a statute, part of a statute, or a clause of a constitution) within the context of the law's purpose.

Kennedy should have given her a softball question like, “What is a woman?” Oops, that wouldn’t have helped her either.

I bet there are Republican senators that will vote to confirm her. That’s how eff’d up thing are.

Her skin isn’t all that black. The surname looks Nordic.

Thing is, if you actually read the Constitution, it nowhere in Article III, or anywhere else, gives SCOTUS or the courts the power to declare acts of Congress or state legislatures ‘Unconstitutional’. SCOTUS pretty much gave itself the power in Marbury v Madison in 1803. Now many of the Founders were still around and I’ve never heard of any outcry from them over this assumed power, but it is not in the Constitution itself.

I have read that to the Founders it was unthinkable to imagine a Congress passing a bill that was unconstitutional. I doubt they would recognize the government they established.

She is so embarrassing, the Demcrats will tell her and Biden to withdraw her nomination.

Not surprised she is a judge in the State of Washington. When a judge in Washington decides to retire, they do so several months before their next election so the Governor can appoint their replacement. That way they can run as an incumbent. No State Senate confirmation process, just appointed by the Governor. Same thing happens with State Supreme Court Jusices.
