When my youngest was three he asked to see my guns. I pulled out a small .380 and we reviewed the safety rules first. I somewhat purposely didn’t remind him to keep his finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
20 years later, I can still see him trying to stretch his little finger over the trigger guard. That’s gun proofing your kids.
