I believe that based on what we didn’t know at the time, giving the benefit of the doubt to the “two weeks to flatten the curve” mantra was OK. Once it became clear to everyone with a functioning synapse that it was a hoax that benefit went away. We, or at least I, as I can only speak for myself, will not be giving that benefit of doubt going forward. Also, knowing what we know now, such an overreach would not be well received, if you get my drift.
The Wu Flu plague had limited shelf life as a hoax. That’s why they are queueing up the UFO invasion. With today’s tech and the sheep like gullibility of the masses it has endless dictatorial potential.
