Many of the Woke are just conformists. They do what's popular and what makes them look like one of the team. That's why they're always virtue signaling to each other. There's comfort in numbers and the herd instinct is strong, even in humans.

OTOH, real Christianity is the ultimate in nonconformity. It takes guts. And it can get you killed (as Jesus, Peter, Paul, Stephen, et al. demonstrated).

Later on I realized there was 4th practice, depending on your employment:

When we asked Jacob what he would say to the 51 Republicans who turned their backs on him and millions of other Americans, he grew serious. “My decision to stand up for biblical truth goes back to the Bible in Genesis 3. This young man is 19 years old and has the wisdom and courage far above so many Christians I know. How many of us would take a stand like this young man?

Personally, I'd like to say I would. At my age and nearing retirement though? And in a recession that's going to last who knows how long?

Fortunately, this young man has many years ahead of him and with his integrity I've zero doubt he'll land on his feet and prosper. He's exactly the kind of LEO this country needs IMO.
