With all due respect you are thinking of hydroxychloroquin (sp?) or HCQ. That is a zinc ionophore.
IVM has a different mechanism of action.
FWIW - there are good studies that show that quercetin (a nutritional supplement) is also a pretty effective zinc ionophore if HCQ is not available.
You are correct. The mechanism of ivermectin is believed to be that as a protease inhibitor, it helps keep the spike protein from entering cells.
Some protocols recommend combining the zinc/ionophores alongside ivermectin if not seeing success from one alone. My GP is using both to treat post-vaccine patients. She says the results are remarkable.
