Women are not minorities.
It is all about meeting expected distributions by race, sex, and sexual preferences. Merit is secondary.
Truth...Only white men and Asians are smart...Minorities and women are morons and unable to compete against smart people......
In fact, men are only 40% of US college students now, and falling. In the UK they are only 30%.
In college men are the minority.
Women are covered under anti-discrimination laws and have benefited from affirmative action since it has existed. This despite the face that they are the majority of college and law school students.
