I had a sickening sense of aha when I read this.
It sure makes sense.
Because there was some reason they just pulled him over and just lit into him. I don’t think it was a traffic stop or arrest related. It was personal.
Just horrifying.
“ If true, then charges go up to premeditated murder.”
Yes I would think that would be evidence of FIRST degree murder
It is alleged that all the cops acted excessively.
The root cause of the alleged rampage by the five would probably be common to the five.
I have been hearing about this for a couple days, but this is the first official article I’ve seen about it.
This incident still does reinforce the “cops are brutal” narrative. The most glaring indicator is the nonchalance of the police officers and EMTs who arrived after the initial beating … as if they deal with this sort of thing with boring regularity.
Only saw it once, but didn’t Nichols keep saying, “You know me” or some such during one of the beatings?
Yep, if true it needs to be kept hidden because it would let the White cop off the hook.
Another possibility is that the officers were already upset about something just before they saw Tyre driving.
The story I saw online is that Haley’s ex girlfriend and baby mama is a Fed Ex driver. Tyre Nichols was also a Fed Ex driver so that’s how they met and had been dating.
The whole baby mama / baby daddy thing is the cultural equivalent of a backed-up toilet.
“broken neck” “cardiac arrest”
This has a picture of Tyre in the hospital:
Rather than pass along rumor and speculation why don’t we all just wait for discovery and trial?
How could a black on black attack be racist?
Rumor and speculation? You mean like the vax is killing people and Biden got 81 million votes. Specualtions like that? LOL
Some were in plain clothes I have read too.
Perhaps that would be the proper attitude if only our judicial system, from traffic court to SCOTUS, had just a scoche more credibility.
“This incident still does reinforce the “cops are brutal” narrative.”
This shows there are little to no standards on who (or what) becomes an officer anymore. At least in some places.
it doesn’t make sense. Why would the others participate?
Because Free Republic would go out of business?
