Washington — The House on Thursday voted to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar from her seat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee over her past controversial comments about Israel, ousting the Minnesota Democrat in a show of force by the newly empowered Republican majority.
The vote on the resolution to remove Omar from the panel was 218 to 211 and fell strictly along party lines, with one GOP member voting "present."

I didn’t know the majority party could remove minority party members from a Committee. I thought each party was free to pick their representatives for a Committee. The only difference being that the majority party got to pick more members.
The article doesn’t say who voted ‘present’.
Recall Nancy booted members from their 1/6 committee.

Rat face, back stabbing, no Trumping, purple puss Nancy Mace (SC 1) blinked and voted Omar out after saying she wouldn’t. Must have felt some heat from home.
If the “refugee” wants to “change da wurl”, she need to go the hell home and start there. Shut down that government that made her have to run away like a chicken and leave her home country. We Americans can take care of America ourselves. We don’t need any “refugees” mucking it up.
That is also my recollection.
