Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is preparing to address Parliament at Westminster Hall as he embarks on his first visit to the UK since Russia’s invasion.

Mr Zelensky earlier met Rishi Sunak at Number 10 after jetting in to Stansted airport for his surprise visit.

The Prime Minister promised extra military support having announced plans to train Ukrainian pilots, paving the way for them eventually being able to fly sophisticated Nato-standard jets, a key request from Mr Zelensky.

The visit will also see Mr Zelensky have an audience with the King and visit Ukrainian troops.

The war dominated Mr Sunak’s exchange with Sir Keir Starmer at Prime Minister’s Questions at midday.

Opening the session, Mr Sunak told MPs: “I am delighted that President Zelensky is here in the United Kingdom today.

“It is a testament to the unbreakable friendship between our two countries and I am proud that we are expanding the training for Ukrainian forces to include jet pilots and marines, and ensure that Ukraine has a military able to defend its interests today and in to the future.”

There was a report a few days ago that the entire British Army currently has ONE combat ready division - what this means is that Sunak and Boris Johnson have the mouth but the US will have to provide the fighters.

Rishi Sunak is about to get a heavy dose of the Zenensky Curse. He’ll be tossed out on his ear shortly.

It is another pipeline at for Europe just like Syria…. With the bonus of being a proxy war with Russia. So of course they support them… it’s US taxpayers that are paying the price.
The globalists must control Russian natural resources to “go green”. Not that their real agenda is about the planet.
Putin won’t let them strip mine Russia Pennie’s per pound.

I cannot believe this epidemic of madness in the West.

This is like happily announcing the social and dining schedule for the day on the sinking Titanic.

These people are mentally ill.

Ukraine is doomed in its fight against Russia and Ukraine just lowered the military recruiting age to 16. They are bound and determined to make sure virtually all young men in Ukraine die before reaching manhood.

This is pure evil. This will destroy the EU and NATO and everyone encouraging this slaughter deserves to be hanged or in prison for this reckless disregard for human life.

Those living in the Donbas do not feel “invaded.” They are now “liberated” from the monsters in Kiev who have been shelling them and killing them by the thousands for more than 8 years for the “crime” of being ethnic Russian and seeking autonomy from those murderous tyrants.

The UK went from Churchill to Sunak.

Game over.

[I cannot believe this epidemic of madness in the West.]

Once the West embraced homosexual marriage, “transgenderism” and a whole bunch of other Leftist ideas, the handwriting was on the wall.

I’m very sorry to say.

One British division would be welcome addition in Poland. On the same or similar basis I expect NATO can concentrate about 15 first line regular divisions in Poland and the Baltics in three months or so.

Like the British, these will be regular troops, the best of the best. Add to that mobilized reserves and militia from Eastern Europe. Add to that the massed might of the US and NATO Air Forces.

Russia will not be able to even begin to contemplate an offensive against that.

The world has lots of natural gas. The problem is getting it to market. The problem with that, in the case of piped gas, is that one locks in sole- source dependence. That is dumb, for the buyer.

A solution is multi-source pipeline networks. Russia has steadily opposed this. They wanted a monopoly. The US has opposed the Russians on this since the Kennedy administration.

Britain’s King Charles will hold an audience with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his trip to the United Kingdom on Wednesday, Buckingham Palace said.

Zelensky is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and address Britain’s parliament, as well as visit King Charles at his London residence.

Zelensky’s trip to Britain will be his second foreign visit since Russia invaded Ukraine nearly a year ago, and comes at a time when Kyiv is urging the West for more military support.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will arrive in Paris on Wednesday evening following his visit to London, the Élysée Palace told AFP, confirming previous media reports.

Zelensky is then expected to head to Brussels for a European Union summit on Thursday.
