He moved up into the big leagues from the minors:
Thompson was just in Milwaukee County Court Monday, where a judge sentenced him in two hit-and-run crashes from 2021. One happened at Brown Deer Road and Sherman Boulevard where his car struck a building, and the other was at Sherman Boulevard near Roosevelt Drive, where he hit several cars.

The judge gave him 12 months probation and released him.

It is his only criminal record, however, WISN 12 News learned a woman last year got a temporary restraining order against Thompson. In court documents, she told the court he was “calling me and threatening to kill me.”

She went on to say, “He also showed me a picture of his gun.”

Sources told WISN 12 News aside from those two traffic misdemeanors, Thompson had a few contacts with police as a juvenile but was never charged with any juvenile offenses.

Thompson was scheduled to be back in court next month to determine the amount he was to pay the owners of the cars he damaged in those crashes.
