That would be the best thing DeSantis could do.
I would respect him and vote for him when he runs AFTER Trump has finished his next term.
If he runs this election... I will not vote for him. I want to see Trump finish the last step in this mess... fire those turncoats and those playing like they are the ultimate law force in the country! They have to be cleaned out or this country will never be what it once was! they got into the bad habit of thinking they could make their own laws... and live with their own corrupted mess they have turned it into. corrupted way too long and way too many.. give them an inch and there is no stopping them.

It’d be a bad look for DeSantis to bail on Florida after 1 year, so that voids any accusations of cowardice, imho.
If he doesn’t run, Trump wins the primary and the general barring another D steal, which he and we will be watching like fkn hawks. If Ron does challenge DjT, he angers and alienates Trump’s base which he may not be able to survive.How far beyond Florida does the DeSantis appeal extend ? Unknown.
Challenges to Trump from x,y,or Z are no problem, but not from DeSantis who’s got a near flawless resume. Does he want to get it bloodied ?
I wish to hell these 2 forces could join forces after ‘26 midterms in some key DC cabinet role to set him up for his own run. Florida will be in great shape, he’ll be termed out and it’ll be time to install the next best & brightest to keep Florida strong.
