It would be wholly inappropriate for her to mention Trump by name in such a rebuttal, as it could appear as an endorsement as he has already launched his 2024 campaign. In her rebuttal, she was representing the GOP; she was not representing Trump.
Exactly. It was not a campaign speech. It was an anti-Biden, anti-Demonrat, anti-woke speech. Period. No need to mention Trump.
