Area of sabotage is within NATO waters, flanked by 7-8 NATO countries, and is the main waterway for the russkie navy to the Atlantic and is under comprehensive monitoring by NATO.

While no evidence has been revealed which country is responsible, the russkies were cleared a week or two ago, which is consistent with not wanting to destroy your own infrastructure. Duh.

So doubters, if not NATO [and NATO does only as the US directs], then who? Or are you now going to say it could’ve been mermaids or a sea monster?

Sy Hersh was right about Watergate, CIA assassinations, the Glomar Explorer, the My Lai massacre, Abu Ghraib and the false flag chem attack in Syria, among other things.

In other words, he is a real journalist with a top track record.

“A lot of us feel this is a possibility but it should take more than an “unnamed source” to make this kind of allegation.”

Yup. However, there are quite a few “Blame America First” FReepers, no matter what the subject is.

Allegations are meaningless without convincing proof. And cryptic comments are NOT any kind of proof. A court of law would toss out this claim in a heartbeat if all the “evidence” was just some cryptic comment that could mean anything. The standard of proof in a criminal case is “Beyond a Reasonable Doubt.”

This story is getting legs

Tucker just had a segment describing the op & he didn’t use the word “allegedly”

He claims it’s true

This was obvious from the beginning. Cui Bono. Who benefits. Certainly not the Russians. Not most of Western Europe. They’re now paying significantly more for LNG than they were to Russia for pipeline gas which has crushed their economies. Oh, and by the way, just who is it that’s selling them that LNG at a very handsome markup? Ummm.. perhaps the US? Why yes. What a coincidence.

Biden is too cute by half. Russia won’t easily forget this. Two can play this game. This will eventually come back to bite us in the ass.

No one says anything refuting specific details, only trashing the author.
That says plenty.

What were congressmen investing in at that moment?

That would be telling.

Someone’s pockets got stuffed.

“Pulitzer Prise means your reporting conforms to the far-left narrative.”

Pulitzer Prizes have been known to be awarded to people who made up their stories or reports.

Biden as much and came out and SAID he could do it. Then it happened. OpSec is obviously big on Biden’s list of priorities.

Maybe... but it’s still a lie and an evasion of the truth. After all, what is a lie but an effort to deceive and mislead?

No, it was not in Swedish territorial waters. It was in their economic zone which is quite different. And you may have noticed, And Sweden completed accession talks at NATO Headquarters in Brussels on Monday (4 July 2022).

“I am surprised if this were true and that CIA didn’t outsource it.”

They did outsource it - they had Norway pull the trigger - that way they could avoid having to inform Congress.

Are you saying that, according to this story, that US Navy Divers planted the bombs but that Norway detonated them?

Norway is part of NATO, fwiw.

“Disgusting day in the history of the Marine Corps for a commissioned officer to stand at the podium and lie.”

I think the people who are trying to pin this move on Russia are giving themselves away as paid operatives, since any 2 year old would understand that blowing up the pipeline was NOT in Russia’s interest, not to mention the fact that even the victims of the explosion (Germany) refuses to blame Russia.

The question now is whether Europe finally says ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, and tells the US get packing and they’ll work with Russia on their own.

What right did Biden, Blinken, Nuland, the CIA, have to commit a covert act of war against Russia, the greatest nuclear power on earth, in such a way as to hide it from Congress and the American people?

THAT is the story here.
