They have come here. We are fortunate that all that built and moved into our little slice of heaven are very conservative. Seems the states population has doubled in the last 10 years.

Don’t worry about it. When it gets too crowded the new residents will just vote for a light rail train, affordable housing in every neighborhood, and bike paths. Lots of bike paths.

N Central Ark is beautiful but the people from Illinois, California, and Minnesota are piling in daily. I moved here from Mississippi and raised the average IQ in both states.

High density housing, enough it seems, to at least double Reno’s population, is being constructed everywhere you look.

There are probably lots of previously conservative places that this is being done to.

Demographics engineering.

My wife and I considered moving to your part of the world when I retired, but we ended up staying in the Arizona desert. Sure looks like nice country in western AR, though (we were thinking about somewhere between Mena and Fort Smith).
