They use medicaid funds for food now. After these stories are out of the news cycle will we see new stories about medicaid not having enough money to pay for medical care? Or maybe congress puts more money into medicaid without any thought whatsoever.
We now pay for kids’ breakfast four ways:
1. Food stamps (aka SNAP)
2. Free school breakfast
3. Teacher bought snacks when the dysfunctional family delivers a still hungry child late to school
4. Medicaid
And all the while people claim kids are starving while obesity rates explode.
According to my neighbor who’s well in her 80’s, food stamps will be cut, in her case, by about 30%. Something to do with a federal contribution that will end in March.
