OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- It's been a week since an Oakland baker went to the bank and was fatally injured trying to stop thieves who'd broken into her car.

Jen Angel, the founder of Angel Cakes, died last Thursday.

After watching that story an Oakland restaurant manager says she was also the victim of a similar smash-and-grab crime last month.

Owner of popular Angel Cakes bakery has died after being in a medically-induced coma after being dragged 50 feet during Oakland robbery.

Leah Beneze has worked in the restaurant industry since she was a teenager. But she says, what's happening in Oakland right now, is something she has never experienced before.

"I have worked in the restaurant industry since I was 16 years old. And I have been a manager for 20 of them. I have never felt so insecure or threatened in this industry, working in Oakland," she Beneze, who is currently the general manager at the popular Brenda's Oakland restaurant.

When Beneze learned about the circumstances around the death of Angel, she immediately thought, "Holy crap, that happened to me! Same MO. Same everything."

Angel died Thursday from injuries she sustained following a smash-and-grab near the Wells Fargo Bank in downtown Oakland. She was dragged 50 feet by the getaway car that she chased after.

“Jen Angel, the founder of Angel Cakes, died last Thursday”

I have zero sympathy for her.

Yep. I posted an article about her yesterday saying how she supported crooks, so absolutely to hell with her and her stupid friends who feel it’s better to allow killers to kill again than throw them in jail.

She supported crooks and would rather have them released so they can victimize more people than see them in jail so I can see where the hate comes from. Her friends want the killers that killed her released. What if they kill a kid?

“This silly bitch truly reaped what she sowed.”

Agree - the only hope is that more people like her also ‘disengage’ from politics. They are poison.

Insanity. Sheer insanity. From an article yesterday explaining why the murdered baker's family did not want the murderer prosecuted:

"...As a long-time social movement activist and anarchist, Jen did not believe in state violence, carceral punishment, or incarceration as an effective or just solution to social violence and inequity..." Good on her. However, we don't live in "The Republic of Jen" where her rules are the law.

We live in The Republic of The United States that has rules and laws to be followed, and which citizens expect...no...have RIGHT to have them enforced since they are LAWS passed by Constitutional legislation.

So, if this violent felon kills someone again after they are set free, whose fault will that be? Hers? The legal system? Who knows?

I don't wish for harm to come to anyone. But these people who classify themselves as "long-time social movement activists and anarchists" should be forced to live by the rules they promulgate. And they should be the first in line to do so. And most DEFINITELY should have to be subject to the consequences of thes rules they promote BEFORE they are allowed to run for office.

  • They want a "just solution" to illegal immigration? They, their families, and their property should be forced to relocate to 100 yards from the border in Tucson or Waco and be deprived of any recourse to, or protection from illegal incursions they fully support.

  • They want no police forces in inner cities? They, their families, and their property should be forcibly relocated to Memphis, TN or Chicago, IL to test their theories.

  • They want no bail for any crimes, including violent crimes? They, their families, and their property should be forcibly relocated to any of the above areas, and have themselves or a family member threatened to be attacked, raped, or killed. Of course, we don't want any of them actually hurt, but they should be encouraged to undergo as closes as they can get to the full experience they want to force on others.

  • They don't want people to own guns? They, their families, and their property should be forcibly relocated to any of the areas above and test out how it feels to be under attack with no recourse.

  • They want to give away money to people who don't earn it? They should have any money they earn be open to free seizure and allocation by a government agency to those "less fortunate". They should also have to experience this before they are eligible to run for office.

Thomas Sowell has accurately pointed out that the people who promlugate these insane ideas do not have to live in the destructive and corrosive environment they create, but if they did, we might not have them pushing these things the way they do.

But perhaps not.

I have come to the conclusion that many of these people on the Left are engaged in a destructive suicide endeavor, though I have no doubt many of them do not see it that way, like this stupid woman and her family who believe that violence is going to befall someone else, not them or their loved ones.

The people feeding them the racist line that they are only ending up in prison because of "structural racism" or other nonsense like that, know the truth. They regard these willing "Useful Idiots" as a tool in the tearing down of this country and its social order, in order for them to implement their own, racist, ignorant, malignant social order.

I think people feel that way with justification.

If she was a truly innocent victim, I doubt people would feel that way. I know that I wouldn’t.

However, someone who takes the stand the murdered (martyred) Baker did, is deserving of all contempt.

If the murderer is not prosecuted, the murderer will do what they tend to do, and another person who is REALLY innocent will lose their life.

Let’s face it, Cops are truly the only restrainers of anti-social behavior that civil society or business have nowadays. And, with a dearth of Cops and a rush to institute “woke” policies to hamstring and defund them; society’s left on its own to defend against men, whose very nature is corrupt! It’s simple Math. People are “woke” but they’re not awake! People had better engage in self-sustaining activities because no one is coming to their rescue!
