The crazed mass shooter who shot dead three students and left five others in critical condition at Michigan State University was identified Tuesday as 43-year-old Anthony Dwayne McRae.
The gunman was identified as police confirmed he was found dead of suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound at 11:35 p.m., just over three hours after he first opened fire.
Cops earlier said the killer was not thought to be connected to the university, and police did not reveal a possible motive in Tuesday’s early morning update.

RE: Were they raised in a single parent family, were they disciplined and taught to value education? Etc.
That would require thinking instead of knee-jerk anti-gun reactions from Gov.Whitmer, Pelosi, Biden and the media.
Note: the perp was NOT eligible to buy or hold a firearm
after a felony conviction and parole in 2018-2019.So, the breathless rush to pass anti-gun laws again would not have mattered.

The Michigan State University gunman had turned “evil and mean” and became a recluse after his mother’s death in 2020, his father said Tuesday in an exclusive interview.
The shooter was identified Tuesday as Anthony McRae, 43.
After his mother died, McRae quit his job at a warehouse and stayed in his room all day, his father, Michael McRae, said.
“He was grieving his mom. He wouldn’t let it go. He got bitter, bitter and bitter,” the elder McRae said. “His mom died, and he just started getting evil and mean. He didn’t care about anything anymore.”
Only because he ‘identifies’ as a white, male, conservative, Evangelical, MAGA supporter!

The fact that is was a black male shooting white people wasn’t a talking point for NPR, like it certainly would have been if the situation was reversed.
