Where is your proof or indication that he is throwing his hat in the ring? I’ll all ears, maybe I’ve missed it.

Just think about all the good Soros could have done with his money instead of massive evil

Golden Eagle, you lie as easily as you breath. Your schtick is to post false or misleading allegations and by the time a person has had a chance to debunk it, you’ve moved onto the next lie.
Take the allegations you just made. To start with, you post the following link to an article that you couldn’t possibly have read, because the article’s been archived.
https://conservativetribune.com/bailed-out-trump-towers/
If you haven’t read it, why would you use it to make your point? Because that’s the way you roll. I suppose you thought nobody would bother to check and, would just rely on your word.
Moving on. Your next point is that, in 2009, Trump attended a Christmas Eve party at which George Soros was present. And? By your own admission, Oliver Stone and others were also at this party. Why you would even bother to mention this is beyond me. Trump wasn’t even in politics at the time. If you believe that Trump attending a party in 2009, at which George Soros was present, is proof of anything significant then you truly have lost the ability to argue rationally and objectively.
But the main thrust of your allegation is that some unsavory relationship between Trump and Soros must exist because Soros leant money to Trump to help Trump finance the construction of Trump International - Chicago. But the devil’s in the details. Before we even get into whether Soros “bailed out” Trump, as you allege, let’s start with a few preliminaries. The “bailing out” is in reference to a 2004 loan made to Trump by a group of investors, of which Soros was only one participant. The investors leant approx. $130 M to the project. This was in addition to $650 M Trump had already received from Deutsch Bank. Two key points. This loan occurred in 2004, 12 years before Trump ever entered politics. Trump was a businessman at the time. Why a businessman should have refused to accept a loan from a financial group, of which Soros was only one participant, you don’t say. And why Soros would “bail out” Trump in 2012 (which was when the loan was renegotiated), when Trump was still 3 years from declaring his run for the Presidency, you also don’t make say.
But the “bailing out”, itself. Let’s examine it. In 2012, Trump had paid off most of his loan from Deutsch Bank. But still owed money on the loan from the Soros group. Keep in mind that Trump had been paying interest on that loan since 2004. Trump sued the group for debt forgiveness. For the sake of brevity, I’ll ignore the specific details of Trump’s legal claim. The point is, Trump sued the Soros group, and as a result, new terms for the loan were renegotiated, by which Trump was allowed to pay off the loan for $48 M. This is the kind of renegotiating that goes on all the time in multi-million dollar real estate deals. The idea that Soros provided a discount on a loan, as some sort of gift to Trump, is ridiculous. The only reason the Soros group took less than what was originally negotiated is because Trump sued him.
Soros made a business decision that renegotiating the terms of the loan, was a better outcome than what was likely, had he continued the litigation. Again, this type of thing happens all the time in big business. And let’s not pretend Soros and Co. lost money on the loan. They had been getting interest on the loan for 8 years. In addition, the principle had been paid down from the original loan amount.
All in all, I’d say the episode shows what a good negotiator Trump is. You could even say that it’s an example of Trump outsmarting Soros.

Golden Eagle, you lie as easily as you breath. It’s sad to see you reduce yourself to such a baseless, personal insult.
I just posted that link and it’s contents but didn’t check all the imbedded links, since there were so many. Sorry about that. I don’t think it in any way indicates my links aren’t typically very reliable, as you should well know by now. Thanks.

Just the facts Golden Eagle. I wish it were otherwise. We engaged with one another on a previous thread, and you showed signs of being an honest debater. The problem is, every time the discussion goes in a direction you’re not comfortable with, you fall back on false claims and innuendo. It appears there are some stories that are just too good for you to check. You’ve come to your conclusions, and any data that might challenge them, you’re unwilling to examine.

DeSantis hasn't thrown his hat in the ring, nor made any indication he will be doing so, despite all the sturm und drang.

Maybe I finally tired of you and left the thread after you kept moving the goalposts so many times in a row, is the best argument you could make.
That would explain your childish attempt at name calling and insults at this point. However, in light of your decision to resort to such tactics, I think it’s probably best you no longer reply to me. There’s plenty of others here for you to call names instead. Thanks.

Saying that DeSantis “is shrewd, ruthless, and ambitious”, George Soros delivers an endorsement of the Florida governor adding, “He is likely to be the Republican candidate.”
When billionaire leftist and creepy globalist George Soros is complimenting your personality attributes, you just might be doing the whole Republican presidential candidate thing wrong. Just sayin’.
WASHINGTON DC – In a wide-ranging speech, Soros ripped Trump’s presidency and complemented elements of DeSantis’s style. “DeSantis is shrewd, ruthless, and ambitious,” said Soros, adding, “He is likely to be the Republican candidate.”
Trump, on the other hand, “has turned into a pitiful figure continually bemoaning his loss in 2020. Big Republican donors are abandoning him in droves,” he said.
Soros, an international financier and philanthropist, typically dumps millions of dollars into political races and committees. He heads a global liberal network of groups pushing climate change, financial reform, and changes to the criminal system. He recently teamed with Charles Koch and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund to revive the Iran nuclear deal, according to reports. (read more)
This might be problematic. In addition to DeSantis supporters needing to defend the unlimited Ukraine grift, and the value of eating bugs as a conservative lifestyle, now they have to spin an endorsement of ruthless ambition by Darth Soros. Eh, sucks to be them.
George Soros never complimented Donald Trump.

I never called you a name. I said you lie, for which there is some basis in fact, although “say things which are untrue” may be more accurate since I don’t know that you knowingly speak falsehoods. And sometimes you even tell the truth, so perhaps I was a bit harsh in how I worded it.

It does seem that way, and it should be obvious to many of these Trump-or-die folks why.
