To accept the argument that woke is a racial slur is to assume that black people are synonymous with certain political ideas
The day after the Super Bowl, O’Brien provided advice to her news media colleagues. “So reporters,” she tweeted, “for many people ‘woke’ means Black people. Or more likely — a racist slur. So maybe do a better job in interviews when people talk about ‘wokeness’ mmkay?”
O’Brien provided no evidence to back up her claim, yet her message went viral. And it’s not hard to understand why her advice would be popular. If it becomes socially unacceptable to name and shame woke ideas and people, then it’s harder for us to criticize what has become an influential, yet ultimately shallow and elitist, form of race politics.
So what does “woke” mean anyway? It’s an important question, and one that’s not very difficult to answer.
Dr. Wilfred Reilly, a political science professor at the historically-black Kentucky State University, offered a helpful definition last year: “Wokism is the belief that (1) all of society is currently and intentionally structured to oppress, (2) all gaps in performance between large groups illustrate this, and (3) the solution is ‘equity’ — proportional representation (without) regard to performance.”
It may not be an all-encompassing definition, but it’s more than a good start. Dr. Reilly’s definition captures what’s at the heart of wokeness: the argument that systemic oppression exists beyond individual intentions and can be proven by treating statistical disparities as evidence of discrimination, which is then used to dismiss meritocracy and introduce identity-based quotas.

Every word is racist.
“Woke” is neither more racist nor less racist than any other word.
Which is to say that “woke” is incredibly, horrifically racist.
Just like “chair”.
If I had to associate “woke” with a skin color, the color would be white.
And once you have "identity based quotas" used to demand hiring people, then some people in positions of power can use that to "suggest" WHICH people be given jobs for which they are unqualified.
And we know that special preference will be given to people with a history of "activism".
This is Soledad O'Brian, who has milked having her mom be "Afro-Cuban" into putting her into the trifecta of identity politics: claiming to be black, Hispanic, and a woman, while being a child of privilege, and very visibly being very white (figure 75%+).

A woke-tard is any idiot that think government can do anything better than an individual or private business. They also think the “patriarchy” and capitalism are the root of all that is evil.
