There are about five or six semi-large cities in Georgia being controlled by Democrats. Columbus is one of them. Atlanta, of course, is the main one but there is also Macon, Augusta, Savannah, and Valdosta. In addition, Georgia has Gainesville, GA which is a destination for illegal immigrants. If you see a story about child sexual abuse on the Atlanta news, a large amount of them are from Gainesville. Coincidentally, there are a high number of large drug busts in Gainesville, GA. Those are the cities that cause Georgia's crime stats to be high. I believe the Columbus mayor's race is supposed to be "non-partisan", but you can usually spot the demorat!
