Covid was a good test of what happens when most folks work from home...all the support businesses like restaurants, retail stores etc etc...fail...

It pushed all our shopping to the web. And although I like my groceries delivered...I have to get out of the house so I don't go nuts.

I made the choice yesterday. Buy online, a sterile transaction involving a screen and keyboard, or a face-to-face transaction with a local merchant whose small business I'd like to support? I chose the latter, of course.
