Americans have slowly seen pandemic-era benefits disappear over the last year and a half. A few months after expanded unemployment benefits ended, extended child tax credits went away, too. Officials cut universal free school lunch last fall.
No enumerated power, it should all go away.
I feel so sorry for these people not being able to eat T bones paid for with my tax dollars.
Ukrainians have to eat too, you know.
Hand out boxes of cheese, boxes of beans, boxes of powdered milk, and bags of rice. Why do they deserve anything more than that?
We can feed the crap out of freeloading foreign invaders but can’t afford to feed Americans. Bassturd (D)ung Beetles. The least those bassturd Feddies could do is put up a GoFundMe page for hungry AMERICAN families.
the First Resident Pedo promised Ukraine that no
matter how many Ohio explosions,
no matter how starved Americans are,
they will continue too pay all Ukrainian pensions forever
(with 10% to the Big Guy).
Even burger flippers at MvcDonalds are getting $15 an hour these days. They are short staffed, so it shouldn’t be too hard to land such a job. Work even a few hours a week and that would more than make up for the lost benefits.
Yeah, I know, that just isn’t going to happen for most of these folks.
Enough is Enough, stop pouring money into Ukraine if we really need these programs to continue.
Otherwise stop the programs AND stop pouring money into Ukraine!
The right answer is to lower taxes massively and let the local communities and churches get back into the business of helping the poor, the funds are used much more wisely and effectively.
“Ukrainians have to eat too, you know.”
Beau and a friend are making a trip to Cabela’s today to buy some things they need and others they don’t for an upcoming Elk Hunt. ;)
I told him to buy extra bullets. He said, ‘Can’t. They’ve all been sent to Ukraine!’
“”as the federal program winds down.””
Have we EVER seen any FEDERAL program wind down?
This is CNN priming the pump for yet another big expansion of food stamps. The program got a massive expansion under Obama to include middle class people. Trump never really cut it back. Now its time to expand it further into the middle class. I’m surprised it took the Libs this long to use Biden’s food inflation as an opportunity to “solve” it by a massive food stamps expansion.
Every time I am behind someone using SNAP at the grocery store...I can safely estimate that on average, about 50% of their food purchases have no nutritional value whatsoever.
Cases of soda...chips...candy....and basically junk.
So I think they can afford to shave off $95 from their allotment without any impact to their ability to sustain themselves.
Wait, aren’t we supposed to be eating bugs now? Why not give them all the mealworms and cockroach “milk”?
Someone’s got to step up and eat that to save the planet.
it’s a handout...not a subsidy.
We voted this morning - WI SC Primary - then went out for breakfast.
It was a ‘Country Kitchen’ franchise and there were TWO waitresses and obviously a few people cooking, because the place was packed with old geezers like us, that obviously just did the same. Service was great, food was great. No complaints.
Signs up all over the place, (main entry, cashier’s station, bathrooms, windows) BEGGING for help in ALL key positions that you need to run a restaurant.
But, yeah. You’re right. Why work when you can whine and complain about your ‘benefits’ being cut - that shouldn’t be going to you in the first place! Get off your collective DUFF, America!
Who’s making the signs saying “Inflation has peaked?” They need a fart checker. Speaking of that, I see that USA Today has now hired their own fart checkers. Nice move! LOL.
That IS surprising. Excellent point.
LefTards screamed long and loud about Tom Vilsack’s appointment to head the USDA, so obviously he must be standing in their way to some extent.
Strongest economy ever, just ask JoeK Bimentia.
At $15 per hour they will continue to be understaffed. Can’t afford to staff up.
