All this does is create animosity within the Republican Party.

And DeSantis is not even a candidate for president. So why would Trump waste any time and effort criticizing someone who isn’t even a candidate?

If he becomes a candidate then things could be different. But for now he’s severely attacking someone who’s on his side, who’s on his team.

I see it a different way. Trump has evidently found out some things about DeSantis that would not be good for the country. He is trying in a measured way to warn us before we become too enamored of DeSantis.

My guess he doesn't want to drop it all on us yet so he chips away at Ron. That's the only thing I can think of for the attacks that seem to have come out of the blue.

But Trump cant change. He has a Narcissistic Personality Disorder, He is his own worst enemy.

It looks like a Win/win for the Dims. If Desantis gets the nomination Trump will run as an independent and split the conservative vote ensuring a Democratic Party landslide win.

If Trump gets the nomination the Dims will still win big because of Trump Fatigue greatly reducing his supporter turnout,

100% agree. I know a ton of people that voted for someone else, wrote someone else in because of his childish, immature attacks on others.
Didn’t bother me so much because Trump got stuff done. But it bothers a whole lot of people.
