CNN political commentator former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Tuesday on “Anderson Cooper 360” that Republicans were not in favor of giving aid to Ukraine because “cable TV news hosts make a lot of money on creating fear.”
Cooper said, “There have been polls the past few weeks shown softening support for sending more money and military equipment to Ukraine, especially among Republicans.”
Kinzinger said, “This is what happens when you lack leadership. So on foreign policy, American people generally are willing to either go to war or give aid or support our allies in war as long as somebody stands in front of them and makes the case for that. I think Joe Biden needs to do a little better job of that. I think his trip was great and sends a strong message. But the Republican side, who is an elected Republican in politics out there making the case for the war? There may be a few I haven’t heard them. Instead, what you see is profit centers, whether they are blogs, whether they are other cable TV news hosts, make a lot of money on creating fear, on owning the libs, whatever it is of the day, and that’s what the war has become.”

I can’t imagine what the war mongers think a nuclear war would be like but it’s obvious they don’t have a clue. They think their security is absolute and they’ll always have the internet and Uber Eats. They have never suffered and can’t comprehend what it would be like. Because of them, we may all find out.
What’s happening here politically is the isolationist segment of the GOP is going to make the democrats look like they are pro national security. This is going to link the moderates with democrats who think republicans side with Russia.
A political disaster because the majority of the American people are going to end up believing the lie that democrats are standing up for America.
Reality is that Biden was a foreign policy disaster with the debacle in Afghanistan and weakness toward China, as well as Russia. He was forced to back Ukraine kicking and screaming after 1st trying to let Russia take Ukraine.
But Tucker Carlson and 1/2 the people here have promoted the fantasy that Joe Biden has a secret plan to start World War 3 and destroy the world.
Along with a lot of nonsense that Putin is fighting a war against homosexuality.
In the end you are going to put another idiot Democrat in the White House who’s going to further weaken our military and ultimately lose half the world to China, Russia, Iran and North Korea.
You don’t remember, which shows how incredibly short sighted you are, that Biden tried to give everything to China and Iran, ran from Afghanistan, AND tried to get Zelensky to flee Ukraine so Russia could take that country quickly.
But now you’ve all turned this idiot Biden into a super Warrior who you claim actually wants to conquer Russia.
This nutsy approach to foreign policy probably is going to spell electoral disaster.

I’d take Trump as POTUS back now. Nordstream2 sanctions, American LNG to Europe, drill baby drill, increased NATO spending, etc. He’s playing a foolish political game now with Ukraine while thousands of Ukrainians are dying. Trump will be gone eventually but the situational ethics of his post modern conservatism won’t be, unfortunately.
I have never supported giving money to any country outside of rare natural disasters.

I read somewhere that most warmongers are younger and spend a lot of time playing computer based war games. Add in marijuana use, and perhaps that explains their altered reality.
