Kenneth Glasgow, an Alabama pastor, voting rights activist and half-brother to the famous Black pastor and MSNBC host, entered a guilty plea in Montgomery, Alabama federal court Friday, the Associated Press recently reported.

Glasgow’s plea deal allowed the pastor to avoid a trial for his charges that would've been held in March. The pastor will be sentenced at a later date.

Wow!

Although Glasgow no longer has a capital murder charge, he still currently has pending charges; drug possession, assault on a police officer, and tampering with physical evidence that he is awaiting trial on.

Another member of the Sharpton crime family. I highly doubt he’ll do much time in Federal prison at all.

"Reverend" Al should already be in jail for accessory to murder in the Freddy's Fashion Mart arson deaths. The fact that it isn't brought up every time that POS opens his mouth is a travesty.

Lunchbucket Joe already has a pardon in his desk drawer folder with the guy’s name on it, at Fat Al Charlatan’s unrelenting behest.

Online information indicates that the younger half brother is the family business of race-bating.

Exactly— never see any “journalist” asking about this— or what IRS has done... him being a grifter extraordinaire, oh and a ‘barbershop’ human rights activist and numbers runner for the black gangers (and probably a lot more as in money laundry). Haven’t heard from Jesse Jackson either of them in quite a while. Would like to see Al sent to prison where he would not last long.

This misunderstanding, based on white racism against a man of color, is disgraceful./S

He was campaigning for felons to get voting rights restored.

From AlabamaNews.net today....(Not mentioned but I think his mom would say he’s still basically a good boy).

....a well-known Alabama activist who has worked on the restoration of voting rights for former prisoners, prison reform and other issues. He has been a frequent critic of the state prison system and police in his hometown.

Prosecutors said Glasgow admitted not paying income taxes on thousands of dollars he withdrew from the charities and also to claiming Social Security disability benefits by falsely claiming on mailed forms that he had trouble driving. Prosecutors said Glasgow received traffic citations between 2015 and 2020 relating to approximately 27 different traffic stops, all of which indicated that Glasgow was the driver

Glasgow also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute. Prosecutors in 2021 charged Glasgow and another man with the drug conspiracy charge.

The U.S. attorney’s office said in a press release that Glasgow faces up to 20 years in prison, along with substantial fines and restitution.

“Kenneth Glasgow’s actions not only endangered the community, but defrauded the American taxpayers,” Paul Brown, Special Agent in Charge for the FBI said in a statement. “His guilty plea should help to dissuade others from following this same path.”
