He was a 17-year-old high school senior, a varsity soccer player, and an honor roll student enrolled in an EMT program at a community college. But, most importantly, Jack Snyder was a good human being.
The good Samaritan was killed last Friday night by two children, a 14-year-old and a 13-year-old, who Snyder was trying to help when he offered to give them a ride home after spotting them in the bitter cold on his way home from his girlfriend’s birthday party in Battle Creek, MI.
The two young boys shot the 17-year-old honor student twice during an attempted carjacking.
Both of the suspects have been arrested. The 14-year-old boy will be charged as an adult.
Daily Mail reports that Jack Snyder was found lying next to his car at around 12:10 a.m. the morning of January 17 in Battle Creek after he was shot in an attempted carjacking, according to police.
EMTs and medical personnel tried to revive the 17-year-old in subzero temperatures, but Snyder was declared dead at the scene.
Battle Creek Police Sergeant Jeff Case said in a press conference earlier this week that Snyder’s desire to help led to his death.
“The victim was trying to be a good Samaritan by giving them a ride with the cold temperatures. I do know that he resisted the carjacking. So again, he was trying to help out but wasn’t going to give over the car,” Case said.
Chimner was charged Friday with felony murder, carjacking, and two weapons-related violations. He is being charged as an adult and faces a maximum life sentence without parole. The 13-year-old who turned himself in has already been charged with murder.
The suspects had no known connection to Snyder. Case said they “have dealt with them before” but wouldn’t confirm any criminal history.
Teachers held a vigil procession in honor of Snyder earlier this week.

Never get soft hearted and pick up strangers. This isn’t 1950. If it looks lies someone is in trouble, keep going and call the police.
No good deed goes unpunished.

As a start, American schools and the state and Federal departments of education must be abolished ASAP. Education can be privatized with vouchers. And teaching CRT anywhere should be punishable with harsh sentences.
A race war is coming unless we move to stop it now.

The “soccer player” aspect is so very unimportant. We lost a good kid to murderous thugs, who should now be put to death.

THAT is a very relevant post. It isn’t skin color that is the problem except that skin color can be a proxy for culture. The inner city culture that black entertainers promote is incredibly toxic.
The Christian lady I knew with a masters in Accounting, Christian husband and 3 kids being raised responsibly was black, but her CULTURE was closer to “Clarence Thomas Culture” than the ghetto! She was a wonderful woman and Clarence Thomas is my favorite Supreme Court Justice, but too often “black” becomes an approximation of what ghetto culture does.
Unfortunately, some successful blacks harbor resentment towards whites when they ought to resent the living daylights out of the blacks who pretend ghetto culture IS black culture! It is the number of blacks celebrating ghetto culture that is an anchor around the necks of blacks.
PS: Friends who were missionaries in Africa say ghetto culture in Africa would get a person killed. The black men in the community they lived in would never tolerate it. OTOH, they also said the blacks were divided by tribes, and a black of another tribe wouldn’t be allowed to worship in the church...
These are two little white punks who thought they were gangbangers. I think they’re from “good” families, too, that is, not children of meth moms on welfare.
Once upon a time, when Jesse Jackson was actually a Christian and a relatively conservative voice, he criticized the welfare state and its participation in the destruction of the black family. He focused on the encouragement of out of wedlock childbirth (since with the Great Society programs pregnant teenagers got special breaks in getting public housing, they were considered emancipated and they got their own welfare checks).
One thing that he said was that this affected only the black community at the time...but “what goes around, comes around.” In other words, tolerate bad behavior among black people, and pretty soon you’re going to find that white people are wondering why they can’t get away with it to...and then it will become part of white society.
He was right. Tolerating or excusing crime and violence among black people and in fact even glorifying it in the media and pop culture doesn’t just make things worse for black people, but it spreads and soon an increasing number of amoral white people get in on the act too. These white people also have no religion, no morality, and get all of their behavior models from the left-wing media.
Demons are real
Scott Adams is being vilified nationally 24/7 - but his message is getting out, not that we didn’t know it already.
He said one of the things that disturbs him is reading in the paper almost daily of Whites being viciously attacked by blacks in the schools, on the streets, everywhere.
Last week it was a young White girl who committed suicide after being attacked by vicious Blacks in a school hallway.
Spread the word and tell everyone you know: Scott Adams is right.
That kid is a sociopath. Wow. Fourteen years old, previously took his grandmother’s gun and tried to sell it, etc. Now murdering for no reason.
He should get the death penalty.
The culture that influenced him was the schools, TV, Hollywood and social media, but especially the schools.
Black students are taught all across the curriculum to hate Whites and blame them for their troubles. Anti-White CRT is infused everywhere.

I didn’t see it in the article. I assumed the killer was black b/c race wasn’t mentioned in any of the articles I’ve read about this case.
