The ironic thing there is, that leads our boy Dugin into all sorts of absurd statements, some contradicted by his own gov’t.
If he’d bothered to check the Jan. 2023 Russian Gov’t revenue figures...
The author lost me with the usual nonsense of...
1. Russia attacks Ukraine
2. Ukrainians refuse to roll over and die for Russia
3. Ukrainians are therefore Nazis
I recall as well bringing it to peoples attention here - that Putins moves then should not be ignored as he was defiantly gaining old friends back again. Few understood and didn't take note.
That’s ridiculous. The US has already won the war by forcing Russia to expend massive amounts of tUnification of Europe and expansion of NATO (to the Finns) is also a win. It is also a win by showing the impotence of the Russian army. It’s a win for the US no matter where the dust settles in Ukraine.
The more critical questions are the implications for China. We are providing the chicoms with a roadmap of what will come in terms of sanctions and support if (when) they invade Taiwan. The danger is that China has a small window of time to act before the US rebuilds its military stocks and better unifies the alliance in Asia.
The USA/Russia is 100% the opposite of Vietnam here. Fund the enemy of your enemy and watch from afar.
This is a war where one can rightly suspect that China will win.
Ever watch a Russian movie? Blah, blah, blah - and very little action.
I think the only Russian movie I ever watched was “Stalker” but yeah, it’s pretty much a 3 hour philosophical debate set to visuals of 3 guys walking through some weird landscape.
Do you not know who Alexander Dugin is?
Your position is that if ABC News posted an article by Pat Buchanan that it's critically important to note that it's ABC News. Where as I am saying: "It's a Pat Buchanan article" and whether it's published on ABC News, or Human Events, or Fox News it still represents the thinking of the author.
It's a form of McCarthyism, what you are doing here. I guess that's to be expected these days, even on Free Republic.
