Listning to Putins speeches for several years he was often referring to a Multipolar World...so I on’t see this as him changing.

Heck, Yeltsin too, although I differentiate between his personal view and the outlook of the bulk of Russian leadership. When he says “Russia wants...”, he’s often not saying “I’d like to see...”
I have read his book “the theory of a multipolar world”
and have started “last war of the world - island”
He is quite honest and is NOT at all like the west has portrayed him, but definitely in favor of a multipolar world, not a unipolar OR bipolar world.
