In October, Gov. Kevin Stitt set a date for early March when Oklahomans could decide whether to legalize recreational marijuana

Show me the tax revenue politicians are running out of COVID funny money at the end of this year.

Must find new revenue sources.

yeah, whatever...
.
This state, not heavily populated, has over TWO THOUSAND marijuana dispensaries - in my little town of 8,000 people, there are, at last count, ten or twelve dispensaries.
.
From my observation, it’s not hard to get a card to get the ‘meds’ and then the self-medicating begins.
.
so this particular bill means nothing- the sedation of the masses is happening already - either as ‘medication’ or entertainment or video games.
.
Just keep the bread flowing while the circus entertains us into our graves...

Don’t do it Oklahomans, unless you want all your public spaces to smell like a dead skunk like in California and Arizona. It’s disgusting and nauseating. And it respects no boundaries. If your neighbor is partaking “in the privacy of his backyard” the stench drifts over the fences and forces you inside.

Don’t be so ignorant about a state you don’t live in and an election you’re not voting I.

It’s restricted to smoking areas only for those that choose to consume it that way which is only one of many

It’s even higher than that

Over 2500 dispensaries
Over 378,000 medical card holders
Over 7100 Growers
Over 1500 processors
26 labs to test products

And guess what - the sky has still not fallen! Lol

its quite a thing to drive around the small town I live in in Northeast Oklahoma - there’ll be stretches where it smells like a whole army of skunks let go and its just as you pass one of the many dispensaries.
.
For someone that is allergic to it all as I am, it just makes me sad (with hay fever-ish symptoms) to watch a whole bunch of people’s lives go literally ‘up in smoke’ as Cheech and chong immortalized.
.
oh, and are there some that legitimately need such natural means to relieve pain and all? Of course, but the majority I observe from day to day appear to be taking advantage of a ‘medical’ loophole and its saddening.

Call it whatever you want, but it's highly likely cannabis will be legalized at the Federal level this year.

In the next decade, cannabis will be legal in most states. In 20 years, no one will have this conversation.

I wonder what percentage of Americans even know what the 18th Amendment is?
