If you consider that gates was a defense contractor on several occasions at the time where he was working directly with the military and may have more th a juts NGO status , he would be protected from extradition .. and because it’s always a “matter of national security” we will never truly know the whole picture

They wouldn't be able to extradite him without enough evidence to convince a US judge that there was merit to their case. And they have 0 evidence.
