In 2020, all Trump cared about was his re-election and he did not rock the boat at all....he signed the spending, kept Fauci and pushed the vaccines (admittedly before we knew they were harmful).

It was at that time that Trump transformed from a populist outsider to just another politician.

Pompeo is a good national security conservative but a complete lightweight and horrible campaigner.

I’m undecided about Trump and DeSantis. I do not like Trump’s liberal attacks on DeSantis re Social Security, it’s BS.

But, Trump had no choice but to go with the science on Covid, shut the economy down and spend huge amounts of money or we would have been in another Great Depression.

Pompeo knows better but is desperate to gain political traction. Not happening, he is a 1% er.

I liked Pompeo better when he was just a lovable tub of lard.

The entire world was bamboozled by the COVID scam.

You can’t fault Trump for not being prescient enough to see through it AT THE TIME.

When you have every single person in your command telling you the same thing, and its potentially deadly, what do you do?
Go against it and possible get everyone killed? Who suspected they would be THIS dishonest.

Steal an election? Yeah, we knew (and have known) they do that... Shut down a multi trillion dollar world economy to cover their asses? Now that’s a whole new level.

When did you know absolutely that they WERE that dishonest. When did you know it was absolutely a scam? For me it was April, 20. If Trump didn’t know by then he’s a fool. He’s not a fool. He was convinced to go along in order to play the political odds. Other than keeping coup kingpins Barr and Wray, it was the worst mistake Trump made.

You are absolutely right.

Republicans talk a lot about the problems of big government and excessive spending but when they’re in power they never do anything to reduce the size, scope and power of government. In fact, they do just the opposite as you pointed out. They are colossal hypocrites.

The GOP is basically a fake party IMO.

No attempt to present facts, just vitriol. You know full well that corporate Republicans have been playing Chicken Little for decades about a supposed debt crisis which never happens.

The United States is in a unique position with our currency being the reserve.

Trump explained in 2016 how this works for people like you with no business background:

https://www.cnn.com/2016/05/09/politics/donald-trump-national-debt-strategy/index.html

Don’t fall for Paul Ryan’s lies.
