There is one article today saying pro-Trump bots are attacking DeSantis, and another one saying pro-DeSantis bots are attacking Trump.
So, the bots are attacking only those two republicans, and not any democrats at all? That’s not how bots work.
Not true at all. Good bots do what they are told.
Right now every R candidate has every other R candidate as an enemy. There will be a war between them until one emerges victorious. If a candidate sends his bots to attack a D he does two bad things.
(1) He helps take out the weakest D candidates. We want a weak D to be their candidate. No attacks until after their convention.
(2) He teaches the final enemy our tactics. Our final attack must come as a surprise with unknown capabilities and tactics.
That’s exactly how bots work. Or at least this style.
They don’t just attack. In this instance, they are set up to appear to be someone from the party side.
We were inundated (for a bit) by bots for Russia and bots for Ukraine. They have a “personality” you can spot after a bit. It’s fun to play with their script and see how they flip it back. Still flunk the Turing test, even with human helpers.
