Don't know how things are up north but here in the US of A there are many,many people determined to 'fundamentally transform" this country. And many of them have found their way to DC...elected,appointed and "civil service".

Just imagine Sir Humphrey (from "Yes,Prime Minister") having spent his formative years not at Oxford but in North Korea.

I can not blame any of it on incompetence or simply using unintelligent people.

It was all deliberate. Everyone was all in on the plan. Nothing happened due to innocent mistakes.

Blaming anything on stupidity or incompetence is to say the actors have integrity, but mistakes were made. Baloney.
