FYI, I just saw the bodycam video of the encounter on YouTube. The driver was clearly holding his phone with his right hand videoing the officer and his left hand is visibly and stupidly fending off the officer’s attempt to begin removing him from the car when another officer suddenly gives the “gun, gun, gun” alarm followed by a volley of shots from multiple officers. Not exactly training class video of a proper avoidance of deadly force encounter.
