Didn't see the gun in the video but assuming there was one then it would be justified. Even if there wasn't one but the cops had good reason to believe that there was it would still be justified. This clown was a silly little twerp who brought a passport to a gunfight.

The pictures and video here show images of the pistol and holster. After he was pulled out of the car, the holster was on his belt. The pistol was in the floorboard.
