The highly skilled workers are most likely Americans. Americans are the people Mary Barra wants to get rid of. GM has hired many Indian workers who are paid less than American workers. Under the foreign worker visa program, the Indian workers bring their families to the US, and spouses usually get jobs here too, through the visa program. The foreign workers send their children to public schools, where the children usually excel. The foreign workers have access to our woke healthcare system too.
We must remember GM is ‘owned” by our government due to their financial bailout during the Obama years.
The bottom line with the Biden administration and Global Companies seems to be, import people from all over the world to take American jobs with open borders and import foreign workers through the H1B visa program to take American jobs on the cheap.

Obama stole money from GM bond holders and gave it to the UAW pension funds. Rattner was the man who did it.
