But referendums are never valid, right?

Vlad was 51 when he took the helm in 2004. If he remains
another ten years, he’ll be 80.

There may be another strong man FSB type come up.

We just never know. If the powers that be really back Putin
right now, we may get a strong man. If they don’t, we may
be looking at someone more moderate.

I’m not convinced that everyone is a happy camper right
now. If some of the reports are true about his being
very cautious right now, he might agree.

Nations sometimes get off on a military tangent, and then
sour on that sort of thing. The pendulum may swing more
toward a moderate. We’ll see.

I think Trump would get things under control rather
quickly, diffuse the tensions between our nations.

I think he and the EU crowd need to address the WEF and
take those guys out.

I guess if you believe Biden, then yes, Putin wants to restore the Soviet Union.
But if you look at what he has said and done, it’s not even remotely Soviet-style.

But that would require research.....and crap, that’s just too hard.

1. A survey is not the same as a referendum.
2. The source for this “referendum” is Poland.
next.

And I say bs. Go to You Tube and see the truly disastrous state not only of the Russian military but it's failing economy, it's rampant alcoholism and it's declining birth rate.

Every Russian who can is running out of the place. Those that are lucky enough are coming here.

Nearly all free VPN do not allow torrents. But Windscribe does. 10GB monthly.

I don’t use a VPN, my home computers are all hardwired and I don’t do internet on my phone, and I don’t have any internet secrets related to searches, so the trade-offs aren’t worth the bother to me.

I have free proton VPN but rarely use it. Mostly to get past a newspaper paywall. Proton email is very good and encrypted, as you know. I never do internet on my phone. It is mad how people do banking on their phone. Way too vulnerable. But I do banking on my main computer, a desktop with a 24" Led monitor. Hardwired!

I have laptops too. Use wifi with them. My faves are HP 17.3 / all run Windows 11 and i5 CPUs. But one older Dell Ryzen 5 - 2500u/ 15.6" that used to run hot. With Windows 11 it no longer does. Amazing! _________ If you need an inexpensive 17.3" HP just ask. I know everything about them. I open them up and install NVMe drives

Yeah right. 2 million plus Ukies ( the ethnic Russians) fled Ukraine to Russia, not Ukraine.

Demographics are showing only 19-21 million Ukies left in Ukraine, pre war population was around 39-40 million….a huge burden for the EU nations housing, feeding the “ refugees”, draft dodgers, etc…

Ukraine is effectively de-populated, working aged males 18-60 depleting, not a bright future. The Ukies are spent, on western life support.

Russia is a barbaric nation, with barbaric leaders in the Kremlin getting ultra rich via various rip-offs. Putin is the barbarian Tsar, who got ultra wealthy via skimming profits from Russia’s large oil and gas companies.

So of course whatever territory that can break away, wants to break away from Putin’s hellish domination. And they don’t want to be cannon fodder in Putin’s sense wars. No nation wants to return to being under Russia’s boot. Such as Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, Poland
