Based on the folks I see committing gun crimes, I am pretty sure you could increase the checks ten-fold and it would not make a difference.

The BATF goons are visiting gun shops and looking at paperwork...for some minor infraction:

Like filling out a form in green ink instead of black ink.

Then closing down the gun shop,

The gun shop closes and is required to send ALL it's records to the BATF.

.....at the guns shows I frequently attend here in Texas, there are a lot of private sellers there...no background checks or BATF Form 4473 are required, just show your valid Texas drivers license or your valid License To Carry permit...is this PoS president trying to do away with private sales as well...??
