That could be some of the fallout from all of this. Will gas stations be eventually phased out or severely restricted? So that you won’t be able to refuel your gasoline powered car, which would then be part of the incentive to get an electric car?

Yep. And it would be easy for the government to get rid of gas stations. Just put an ever-increasing “harm to the environment” tax on them. Plus give a tax incentive to those that convert over to electric charging stations.

You might ask where all that additional electric power will be coming from. I’m not sure, but I think it has something to do with magic unicorns.
