There’s really not much to comply with, unless you are a dealer. And even then, nothing they are required to do has changed.
The “order” mostly is a bunch of saber rattling and meaningless feel-good jargon. It requires background checks ALREADY required by law. A lot of it is directed to Congress, as suggestions for future legislative bills.
One of the most exasperating things I’ve experienced is taking my AR-15 to a gun shop for service and having them log the visit by recording my gun’s serial number. I didn’t buy any damn thing! And still it gets reported.
Hey, the same assclowns have contempt for SCOTUS and their rulings.
I've been tweeting about this one all day yesterday, asking what it means and how will it make us safer. I've asked Gabby Giffords, Moms Demand Action, and a bunch of individuals who tweeted their support of the pResident's Executive Order. Although I got scores of likes, not one person could explain what it would actually accomplish.
What I think it does is direct the DoD to pay for technology research into "smart guns" that only operate for one specific owner.
Liberalism is a mental disorder, right? :)

Listened to a half hour of Dan Bongino today. He did a pretty good analysis of the secret agenda of eventual gun grabbing with a long desired list of gun owners that eluded them due to laws.
One flaw, he said people will just say “no” as states such as Alabama. Said it won’t fly due to defiance of people.
In my opinion, this is where the cancel comes in. You say defy the illegal government seizure of guns. But your bank says no to your next house mortgage, your kids entry to college, your credit cards continuing, your next car loan and eventually your current electric power account and ability to buy food or drug prescription items with the new cashless society card which went dead suddenly. Then comes prison.
This screed will simply mean much wailing and gnashing of teeth in the Executive branch, but outside of it no significant changes will occur.
Much bloviating about “doing something” and accomplishing nothing.
Still enrages me to see local Michigan news that the college student mourners over the black 46 year old non-student who killed three people and wounded five others at Michigan State University Feb. 14th has led the students to say over and over “This time we have to put all our pressure together to get the gun laws signed.” “We have to have new gun laws.”
What they have to have is an end to black violence. How many homeboy gun holders had a waiting period and legal registration of a legally purchased firearm? Count them.
I have one hand with some fingers left after using the middle one as a symbolic gesture to the moronic woke students.
