I noticed that DeSantis pointedly said he can not speak as to what goes into paying hush money to a porn star, implying that Trump can. Not a nice thing to say about Trump, but I am sure it was in response to Trump's earlier claim that DeSantis was "grooming" high school girls when he reposted a photo purporting to show DeSantis drinking and partying with high school students when he worked as a teacher.

I mean, in all fairness Trump actually can talk about that. Your point about Trump hinting that DeSantis was involved with underage girls is fair, that was a shot below the belt by Trump. I think it would be good if these two could get along or at least not cheap shot each other, it doesn't help either one.

I'm not surprised to see President Trump hitting him hard with this early- it's a topic that matters to Trump. No doubt seeing his own daughter sexualized constantly installed his aversion to groomers. He even expelled one of the most powerful men in the country from his club after he discovered his affection for young women.

I think the point is that DeSantis is going to be accused of something inappropriate with underage girls based on his pictures with them as a young teacher. There was underage drinking involved.

I doubt DeSantis committed statutory rape, but I think he was not careful about boundaries.

Does anyone believe for one moment that there aren’t agents right now offering cash to any of these young women who can remember anything DeSantis did that was inappropriate?

With Trump, everyone knows what they get. Best president in my lifetime.
